Vocational Education Training (VET) in schools offers students the chance to explore industries where they have an interest in pursuing a career. North East Vocational College is a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO) that has the knowledge and skills to deliver training for industries such as business, carpentry, and construction. VET in schools combines a vocational pathway with the student’s current studies to complete or work towards a certificate I, II or III.
VET qualifications, and any credit toward a qualification are nationally recognised by industry.

This qualification provides an introduction to the construction industry, its culture, occupations, job roles and workplace expectations.
CPC20112 - Certificate II in Construction

BSB30115 - Certificate III in Business
This qualification reflects the varied roles of individuals across different industry sectors who apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.
Vocational Education Training in schools is delivered by trainers who are qualified Tradespeople.
